RE: Taxation on gilts owned by company
Hi,
I have reviewed the relevant sections of the TCGA and our guidance and I apologise for my misunderstanding of your original query.
Non qualifying corporate bonds are liable to CGT, and I was focussing on those.
You are perfectly correct that conventional gilts would not be chargeable for CGT.

RE: Part time second job tax
Hi Samar Yousefpour,
The current tax free personal allowance for 24/25 is 12570, so if you have 1 employment that you earn 20000 at, then the first 12570 is not taxed, then the remaining 7430 will be taxed at 20% which is what we call basic rate(not including scotland), if you then take on a 2nd employment in which you earn 9000, then as you have used your personal allowance already at the first job, you would be due to pay tax on this all at 20% - Basic rate. - please see Income Tax rates and Personal Allowances for further information.
Thank you. -

RE: Clarification of £135 Import Rules For Consumers
Hi crafty woodworks3,
Anything posted or couriered to you from another country goes through customs to check it is not banned or restricted and you pay the right tax and ‘duty’ on it.
You will not have to pay anything to the delivery company to receive goods worth less than £135 unless they’re gifts over £39 or excise goods (for example, alcohol and tobacco).
Please see below link for more information.

RE: CDS Data Element 2/3
Hi,
For the specific movement types, requires users to identify in DE 2/3 the need for any commercial or official documents, such as invoices, packing lists, licences, certificates or authorisations to be declared on the customs declaration or Customs Clearance Request (CCR).
Codes which begin with a letter are referred to as Union Codes. These take precedence over any National document codes, they include licences, preference certificates and authorisations.
Codes begin with a number and are referred to as National Document Codes, they are used to declare any national documentary requirements such as home office licences or HMRC forms

RE: Net pay is higher than Gross Pay due to PAYE Refund
Hi team,
There are occasions were a change in tax code may generate a tax refund.
You would pay it and then a credit would be applied to your account which you can use to offset your future liabilities.
You can also make an advanced funding claim if this is not suitable.
You can find information on this by visiting Apply for financial help for an employee tax refund
Thank you. -
