You can send an amendment at any point but we would suggest speaking to your software provider for guidance on how to do this correctly.
Pay periods run from 06 of each month to the following 05 of the next month.

You can’t submit these details until the tax year has ended which was 05 April 2025.
We then updated our systems to reflect the tax year ending on the 05 April and new tax year commencing on 06 April 2025 over the course of the weekend.

Check when you can expect a reply from HMRC
You can then check the allocation of the national insurance payment and full years through the following if you have set up either:
• your personal tax account
• the official HMRC app

Once your CF83 is marked as completed it should arrive within 10 working days if delivered to UK address or within 4 weeks if delivered to overseas address.

To get an 18 digit reference number to make a voluntary class 3 payment if you reside in the UK you will need to contact our helpline, as these references are unique to each customer.
Pay voluntary Class 3 National Insurance: Pay at your bank or building society
NI helpline 0300 200 3500.
OpenMonday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays

The number hasn't changed - this is the number used for National Insurance: general enquiries
We have tested the number and it does not refer to the name quoted by you so we can assure everyone that it is not a scam number but the correct number to call if you have a general enquiry.
To ensure that the deadline for previous years is met you must complete the call back request form by the 05 April 2025.
