RE: Voluntary contribution 2015-2017
I have previously contacted both HMRC and the Future Pension Centre regarding gaps in my National Insurance record for the following tax years: 2015–2016; 2016–2017, 2017–2018 I would like to make voluntary Class 3 National Insurance contributions for these years to ensure that I have at least 10 full qualifying years towards my State Pension entitlement. However, I have not yet received confirmation as to whether paying for these specific years will increase my State Pension. I understand that such confirmation must come from the Future Pension Centre before HMRC can provide the 18-digit reference number required to make the payment. I kindly request written confirmation on whether making voluntary contributions for the above tax years will contribute towards increasing my State Pension. Once confirmed, I will proceed to contact HMRC to obtain the necessary payment reference and arrange payment. Thank you -
RE: Voluntary contribution 2015-2017
Hi, my record is now saying its to late to contribute for my gaps in 2015-2018? Can I still pay online, I'm trying to contact future pension and HMRC for month or so and I still haven't received any call back even though I registered weeks ago for call back. Many thanks -
Voluntary contribution 2015-2017
I would like to pay my gaps to reach 10 full years of contribution. The missing gaps are between 2015-2017 and my record showing that I can pay around £824 per year. I tried for hours to speak to someone on helplines, future pension line, HMRC line without any luck or assistance whatsoever. I would like to pay lump sump for those 3 years, Can this be done via bank transfer as stated on your website with reference included my NI number following with IC. I'm worried I wont be able to reach anyone through the lines to obtain the 18 digit reference number. I would like to make this contribution from UK, British account not from abroad. Thanks for your help.
