RE: Donations to a CIC
Hi,
Under Corporation Tax Self-Assessment (CTSA) rules it is for your company to deceide whether
a specific voluntary receipt (donation) is classed as taxable income or not.
You may wish to engage the services of an accountant to help you make a decision.
Guidance on this subject can be found in HMRCs Business Income Manual (BIM) at BIM41800 onwards .

RE: Registration HMRC
Hi,
In the first instance your company should be registered at Companies House if you are trading in the UK, and this will cut across to HMRC. If you believ you do not need to register with Companies House you should write in to
CT Services
HMRC
BX9 1AX
If you believe your company does not need to register at Companies House the company needs to demonstrate it has considered the guidance at www.gov.uk/register-as-an-overseas-company and explain why they do not need to register
And again write in with the company details .
Thank you .

RE: Payrolling P11d benefits for a director who receives no pay (but is 'on hold' on payroll)
Hi ,
If you wish to payroll the benefits these would go through payroll and be marked as such, if you have them
set as something on your software which prevents you running the payroll for them you may need to speak to the software provider re this .

RE: Zero rate of VAT for solar panel products
Hi,
The energy saving relief is only available for energy saving products when installed by a supplier.
If a supply only makes a sale of an energy saving product this will not be covered under the relief.
So if the supplier is only selling you the materials and not installing them then the sale of these products should carry VAT at 20%.
If you feel you should report this company then please see the link below:
https://www.gov.uk/report-tax-fraud .
Thank you .

RE: Rental income transfer to my wife
Hi,
Thank you for your question I am not aware you need consent from your mortgage lender maybe check with then just to be sure a valid declaration of trust would suffice to transfer beneficial interests in terms of rental income and expenses.
www.gov.uk/hmrc-internal-manuals/trusts-settlements-and-estates-manual/tsem9520 gives details of how to make a declaration of trust you would need to send this to
PAYE/SA HMRC BX9 1AS IF you ask in your letter for acknowledgement it should be able to be given .
Thank you .
