Hi JJ24,
The dates on the HRP CF411 form can be estimated if your mother is not able to recall the exact years that apply.
Regarding the subject access request your mother will need to call the national insurance helpline as below, they will be able to advise on the subject access request and if HRP is recorded on her account once security has been passed.
Number - 0300 200 3500
Overseas - +44 191 203 7010
Open - Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Thank you.

Hi, we applied for HRP for my mother between 1986 and 1999 as she was claiming child benefit for me and my older brother. We received a letter back to say my mother was entitled because she was not receiving child benefit however she was so we sent a letter to say the decision was within 30 days but we have not heard back. Where do we go from and and what can we do? What can we do to take it further if the decision stands? My parents moved to the UK in 1985 with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. We had no family and could not afford child care so my mother stayed home to look after us and claimed child benefit as they needed all the help they could get - How can we prove this? Thanks

*Correction* We received a letter back to say my mother was NOT entitled because she was not receiving child benefit however she was so we sent a letter to say the decision was within 30 days but we have not heard back.

Hi J S,
Unfourtunatly due to a high amount of HRP applications and HRP Mandatory Reconsideration requests there is currently a backlog of work.
We are taking measures to reduce this backlog however, I can assure you though your mothers Mandatory reconsideration request will be looked at and we will relook into our original decision and will give your mother an Reconsideration decision via letter in due time.
If we need any further information from your mother or any evidence in the meantime we will ask for the relevant information if need be.
If your mother is still not happy with our 2nd decision and disputes the decision that is made, there is an appeals process.
The process of what to do to appeal will be explained on the bottom of our Mandatory Reconsideration decision letter we will send to her.
Thank you

Hi
I would like some advice I was Born on 8/7/1953 I was due my pension in 2017 I received a letter stateing that as I only had 7 full years national insurance contributions e wouldn't get a pension.
It wasn't until 2022 I found out that I could topping state pension,I bought three years an that gave me ten full years so I managed to get something.
In June I received a letter from HMRC saying that I might be eligible for home responsibilities contributions
I went on line to check my national insurance record .
I filled the form as I had a daughter born on the 15/41978 they awarded me 14 full years on my records.
Any way getting to the point I received a letter from work and pensions and they updated my pension I also got rebate back dated from 2022 I feel that this should have been back dated from 2017 as it was there mistake not mine

Hi Darius Dow
The letter you received, updating your pension and providing a rebate, should have advised of the next steps you must take if you disagreed with our decision
If you do not have the letter then please use the options available at:
National Insurance: general enquiries
Thank you
