Updated just one year NI

I was approved to make Class 2 and given the amounts needed back to 2006. I sent a payment in March 2025 to fill gaps in NI contributions back to 2006 however only the year 2023-2024 has been updated. Will the other earlier years be updated later or has there been a mistake?

If you could call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas) then they will be able to check your payments and make a note on how you would like your payment allocated to your National Insurance account.

Same happened to me even though notes were made before I paid the contributions to staff at HMRC, I did a follow up call and was told it would be sorted.
I've also sent a letter outlining which years the payment was intended for.
