I am in the same situation. The return calculation suggested that I owe tax. If I make the payment, will HMRC consider this when assessing in April? Or is there a risk that they will also adjust my tax code after April, to recoup this additional tax, in which case I would be paying twice? How can I make sure this doesn’t happen?
