I've been dealing with this department for nearly a year. I made a mistake on my SA return and after initial letter I updated SA return and issued a letter notifying them of this. I had a response that it has been passed to a compliance team. This was nearly a year ago. I've made close to 12 phone calls sent numerous letters and still cannot speak to somebody looking at my case. I get through to the seal assessment team who say they cant do anything but back in December an advisor raised an internal enquiry to put a deadline for a response. That was the 9th feb 2025. On the 10th I rung again and guess what another internal enquiry was raised. Their new deadline is 21st March. I've lost total confidence and feel like I'm being lied too. Caused a huge amount of stress for me and has affected my well being. Been treated disgracefully.
