Hi,
As it is still a residential property, it still needs to be reported within 60 days on the property disposal return. You then report is as non residential in the tax return to claim the BADR.

You cannot claim these against the Capital Gains Tax. These would be rental losses and if you have no further rental income for these to be set against, then they are lost.

The cash gift it self is not taxable but if you now have foreign income you will need to complete a tax return.

Payments would be from any sources of income from employment self employment or interest. Parental family cash gifts dont count as income.
