  • PSA Agreement - impracticable expenses

Hello, Can you please let me know if the following staff expenses can go through PSA Agreement? The below expenses are not minor or irregular, but could be considered impracticable. Can you please clarify? Monthly meeting refreshments, working lunches, team lunches, end of month drinks, team building drinks and lunches, lunches during seminar, directors breakfasts, construction site drinks etch. These expenses would be impossible to put through P11D for each employee hence we have signed up for PAYE Settlement Agreement. Is PSA the right way to report these expenses?
  • Temporary workplace travel

Hi, I work for a construction company and all our projects are London based and duration is less than 2 years. Can you please confirm if the below statement applies if all our projects are based in central London? Also, can these employees claim for coffees/meals as part of subsistence and tax relief would apply? The below statement is from HMRC website; Long construction projects In these circumstances, where the employee's attendance at the site is not expected to last longer than 24 months it will be considered a temporary workplace and tax relief will be available for the cost of travel and subsistence incurred in travelling to that site.
