RE: Eligibility for VAT refund claim under the DIY Housebuilders Scheme for new build
Please can you tell me if the planning permission for a self-build must be applied for and issued in my own name? We are purchasing a plot of land where the planning has already been approved and we are working with the same plans. Are we still eligible to claim back the VAT on listed items that we purchase?
