Electricity used is the fulcrum point of this issue. I guess that you have taken this as electricity bought from you provider, I assume this as you have quoted a price. However in a normal solar panel arrangement you use electricity that you have generated as well as the electricity you have purchased. Any extra electricity you generate but cannot use is sold back to the provider. What is your normal electrical consumption ? It be the total of any purchased electricity plus electricity you have generated and consumed in your home.
