We are thinking of starting an export business to Africa. We would collect parcels of personal belongings from UK based Africans who wish to send back to their families/ homes in Africa. We will load the sea freight container once collections are finished and ship. Container is supplied by a freight agency , rented off the shipping line. If we were to go over the VAT threshold is this classed as a zero rated business? Thanks
