Tax refund cheque

Please can anyone help me!!?? I lost my cheque in April for my tax refund I’ve phoned so many times the last time I called the agent told me I had to call back four months later and re ask for my cheque to be issued!! Can someone please tell me how I get my cheque reissued?? It’s not meant to be this hard!?? I’ve googled it and it says just call and ask but the agents keep telling me I have to hone back next month!!
