BNO visa holder eligibility for ECO4 solar panel scheme?

I’m a BNO visa holder living in the UK and would like to ask if we are eligible to apply for the ECO4 free solar panel scheme? I understand that BNO visa holders are under “No recourse to public funds” (NRPF), but since ECO4 is considered an energy efficiency improvement scheme rather than a benefit, I wonder if this is something we can apply for? Has anyone with a BNO visa successfully applied for ECO4 (e.g. for free solar panels or insulation)? Any advice or experience would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
