I am due to pay almost no income tax for the 2024-25 year. No employment and have not started to draw down my pension yet. Therefore I will not be using any of my personal tax allowance £12,570. Is it possible to carry this forward to the following tax year? Thanks

No, the legislation does not permit any carry forward/back of this allowance.

Hi,
You cannot carry forward unused tax free allowance from one tax year to the next.
Thank you.
