Dear HMRC Admin, The Worldwide Disclosure Facility contains the following question for every tax year to disclose: "Did you deduct any foreign tax credit relief from your calculations? - Yes/No", and when Yes is selected it asks me to enter "How much foreign tax credit relief have you deducted from your calculations for the tax year ending 20XX". Do I get it right that I should enter the amount of tax (converted into GBP) that was already collected automatically at source overseas into that field? Here's how I calculate my tax due: 1) Convert overseas income into GBP 2) Subtract my domestic allowance for that kind of income 3) Then subtract the amount of tax (also converted into GBP) that was already collected automatically at source overseas 4) The resulting figure is my domestic tax still due Many thanks in advance!
