I have completed my 23/24 tax return. I have contributed to my personal SIPP to use all previous 3 years allowances. I was a highest rate tax payer in 23/24. My Self Assessment calculation shows I have overpaid. I am currently out of work and due to age, I may not be employed again. How does the HMRC reduce this credit to me if I have no oncoming salary ?

Hi ,

If overpaid this will show as a credit on your Self Assessment account and you can request this repaid.

Thank you .
