I understand money earned through gambling is tax-free in the UK, no matter how much it is, but must it be declared on my tax return as income, even as a formality? Thank you for your help.

Hi
You would make reference to it in your return but not as taxable income.

Hi, following with the topic, even if it is not taxable, you have to declare in tax return. Which part of tax return do you have to input to not be taxed? Thank you

Hi ,

The proceeds of gambling are not taxable and are not declared in a self assessment tax return .

Thank you .
