I have a three year National Savings Bond that matures Feb 2026. In February 2024 I received interest that was titled 'Interest Capitalisation'. Do I declare this on the 23 - 24 tax return, or wait until the bond matures and declare all interest then as one figure?

Hi,
If you cannot access it until the bond matures it will be in the 2025 to 2026 tax year that you declare it.
Thank you
