I am a UK citizen, tax resident in Spain. My Crown pension is currently taxed in the UK due to the Double Taxation Agreement. I am considering becoming a Spanish citizen. If I become a Spanish citizen the Crown pension becomes taxable in Spain, as per the DTA. If I then, at a later date, renounce my Spanish citizenship, can I revert to being taxed on my Crown pension in the UK?
