Switching tax free allowance between employers

I am about to take an agreed leave of absence of several months from my main job. For this period of time my 'second' job will become my main and possibly only income. How do I switch my tax free allowance between jobs. My current tax code is 1257L.

You would need to contact HMRC to request a change in allocation of your personal allowances.
