Offset PAYE against SA liability?

Hi, can I offset 2024-25 PAYE tax (incorrectly taken in August and not refunded to me) against my 2023-24 tax liability shown after recently completing my 2023-24 Self Assessment? Thanks.

Hi,
If your employer cannot refund you this overpayment through your tax code, it will be factored into, and effectively repaid through, your 2024/25 SA tax calculation.
