I called the help desk, and they told me that as I am using Windows 7, then there is nothing they can do (as it is no longer supported). The very helpful lady suggested that I might borrow a computer with W11, use 3rd party software or otherwise follow the advice on the web site. She was ever so sorry that there was nothing more she could do to help.. For those above asking about the prior version 2024/25, simply so that we could reload that (as it works) in order to complete this year end on time, she also said that that wasn't available..

Is it just me, or are we all going round in circles. HMRC Admin 19 Response tells us to contact our online service team for advice. Technical support with HMRC online services, in the past two weeks i have called and emailed this service, still waiting on a response. On top of all this HMRC will probably by handing out fines for late returns, but will do nothing to help in the mess they created.
