I have solar panels are fitted to my house at overseas, the house is rented out. Is the income from solar panel paid by the electricity company (Feed-in tariff) consider as taxable income? If yes, what category should I put it on? Thank you!

Hi KC W,
Please refer the to BIM40500 - Specific receipts: domestic microgeneration: contents.
If it is not a home occupied by you, it may have to be declared as miscellaneous income profits.
Please refer to guidance in the first instance to determine if you qualify for an exemption for domestic properties.
Thank you.
