I have been asked to package wine for an EU business. This will require wine to be sent from the EU to UK, packaged and then sent back to the same EU company. Would I need to pay duty on this wine? None of the wi e imported will be sold or consumed in the UK

Hi Stephen Card,
You can look into apply for Temporary Admission to import goods to the UK, and use them temporarily before re-exporting them.
Please check below link for more information.

Thank you.

Sorry but temporary admission is not the correct import relief for what you want to do. You need to apply for inward processing relief. You should however check that it also relieves excise duties.
