Sold property abroad at a loss

I recently sold a property in france at a loss. Do i need to include this on my self assessment? I do not want to claim or offset any future tax against this.

Is there anyone who could advise me on this please? Have telephoned and emailed and chat. Been promised a call back 4 times, but never happened!

Yes. As the disposal, whether at a gain or loss was overseas, you have to declare it in your Self Assessment tax return in pounds sterling.
