Can two limited companies share one business bank Account

As per title, can two limited companies share the same business bank account or does there need to be individual bank accounts set up for each business?

This is not for HMRC to say. we have not set any rules about what a company uses as a bank account. You may wish to speak to the bank account provider to see if they have an issue with it.  Thank you .
